Residence Life partners with students to enhance their academic experience by cultivating spiritual maturity and personal development while promoting a Christ-centered community. - Residence Life Mission Statement
Living in community offers many opportunities and responsibilities. As a member of the TFC residential community we ask that you take time to fully comprehend the values and standards of the document and be able to integrate these into personal life choices. While not a comprehensive list of residence hall and campus policies, this covenant seeks to highlight the "spirit of the law" that exists within the policy. This "spirit" goes beyond the mere external adherence to the rules. Rather it is an expression of integrity and virtue springing from the deep within and manifested in the actions of honorable men and women through the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Please consider the significance of this commitment and check the box at the bottom to indicate you willingness to the covenant as a fully engaged member of our community.
As a student in the Toccoa Falls College residence community. I voluntarily submit myself to all the guidelines and policies of the Fall Life Handbook and agree to uphold them with integrity and honesty. On top of this I commit to live by the following standards:
1. I will be considerate of my roommates and neighbors in regards to noise, cleanliness, and shared use of space.
2. I will seek peace in working through any conflicts that arise with my roommates and all other TFC students. I will do this in a direct manner with those involved
3. I will confront, according to Matthew 18 principle, fellow TFC students who choose to violate the Fall Life Handbook, residence Life policy, and/or laws of the state of Georgia.
4. I will choose to build up, respect and encourage all members of the TFC community.
5. I will strive to be a person of integrity and self-control, truthful in speech, honest in conduct, and morally pure in both thought and action.
