    These regulations are effective July 1, 2024
  • All students intending to attend Toccoa Falls College and major in Nursing must sign this form attesting to their licensure plans according to the new regulations posted by the US Department of Education. The regulations are summarized as follows:

    In late 2023, the Federal Government passed new regulations regarding all programs that lead to licensure. Our analysis of individual states’ licensure requirements indicates that the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Toccoa Falls College will allow you to apply for a nursing license in the following states:

  • Application for nursing licensure must be completed through the student's state of permanent residence. If you plan to apply for a GA nursing license, you must have a physical GA address (no PO or campus address) and a GA driver's license. Residency requirements for states other than GA may differ.
