In addition to satisfying requirements for MFT licensure in the state of Georgia, our analysis of individual states’ licensure requirements indicates our graduate program currently either meets or does not meet the basic educational requirements (i.e., coursework, practicums, and internships)* pertaining to the pursuit of MFT licensure in the following states and territories:
All information is deemed accurate as of May 29, 2025.
For the states in red, the MFT program does not currently meet the state's requirement.
*In addition to educational requirements, all states and territories typically have other requirements one must satisfy for the purpose of licensure such as the MFT national exam, post-graduation clinical practice and supervision, and various forms and fees, and each state licensing agency or board has the authority and discretion to decide whether licensure will be granted. It is expected that students will familiarize themselves with, and take appropriate steps to satisfy, such additional requirements within their intended state of licensure and employment.
